Personal Information Protection Policy

  • CLEANPACK Co., Ltd. ("the Company") values customer's personal information and complies with the 'Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection'. The company informs you of how your information provided is used for which purpose and what measures are being taken to protect your personal information through the personal information protection policy of the company.

The Company will disclose the notice through the Notice on Website (or individual notice) when it changes the personal information protection policy

This policy comes into force from 6th September 2007.

The company collects the following personal information for membership registration, consultation, service application, etc.

  • - Collection items: Name, date of birth, gender, login D, password, home address, mobile phone number, occupation, resident registration number
  • - How to collect Personal information: Homepage (membership registration), membership registration through phone/fax

The company utilizes the personal information collected for the following purposes.

  • ① Member management
    • - The company will destroy the relevant information without exception and delay when the purpose to collect and use the personal information has been achieved, such as member authentication, individual identification, prevention of illegal use of disqualified member, checking subscription intention, checking age and treatment of civil complaints.
    • - In principle, the company destroys the information without delay after the purpose of collection and use of the personal information has been achieved. The procedure and method of destruction are as follows.
  • ① Destruction procedure
    • - The information entered by the member for membership registration, etc., will be transferred to a separate DB (separate filing cabinet in the case of paper) after the purpose has been achieved, and will be destroyed after storage for a certain period according to internal policies and other relevant laws (refer to the period for retention and use).
    • - Personal information transferred to a separate DB will not be used for any purpose other than retention by the law.
  • ① Destruction method
    • - Personal information saved in electronic file format is deleted using a technical method that cannot reproduce the record.
    • - The company does not provide users' personal information to the outside in principle.
    • - However, exceptions are made in the following cases.
    • - When the user agreed in advance
    • - When the investigation agency requests to provide the relevant personal information in accordance with the applicable law or regulations.

The company does not consign your information to external companies without your consent.

If such a need arises in the future, we will notify you of the consignee and the contents of the consignment and obtain your consent in advance if necessary.
Users can view or modify their registered personal information at any time and may request termination of subscription.

Users can change or modify member information by clicking 'Change Personal Information' (or 'Edit Member Information'). (For withdrawal of consent, you can click “Membership Withdrawal” to go through the identity verification process and then directly view, correct or withdraw)

Or, if you contact the person in charge of personal information management in writing by phone or email, we will take proper action without delay.

If you request correction of errors in personal information, we will not use or provide your personal information until the correction is made. In addition, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the result of the correction will be notified to such third party without delay so that the correction can be made.

The Company handles the personal information canceled or deleted at the request of the user as specified in the "Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information Collected by the Company" so that it cannot be viewed or used for any other purpose.

In order to protect customer's personal information and to handle complaints related to personal information, the company appoints the relevant department and personal information manager as follows.
